All living hostages back in Israel
After 738 days in captivity, all hostages held by the Islamist Hamas in the Gaza Strip have returned to Israel, according to media reports.
The hostages were held in the worst possible conditions during their captivity, contrary to what Hamas claims. They had no contact with their families or the rest of the outside world.
Freed hostages also reported mistreatment, beatings, lack of food and water and imprisonment in tunnels under the war zone. There were also reports of sexual violence and forced nudity.
