Palestinian media reports – analyzed by PMW
Itamar Marcus is the founder and director of Palestinian Media Watch (PMW). The non-profit organization continuously monitors and analyses reporting in the Palestinian media, especially Palestinian television.
Analyses by Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) show that senior representatives of the Palestinian Authority are constantly calling for the fight and destruction of Israel in Arabic. PMW also shows how anti-Semitic messages are broadcast on Palestinian television, even in children’s programs. PMW publishes its observations in English in communications and newsletters as well as on its website and at appearances in international political forums.
Palestinian Media Watch’s analyses are important because they show that the statements made in Arabic by Palestinian Authority representatives regarding Israel and the Jews are far more hostile and hateful than when the same Palestinian politicians speak in English to Western media and governments.
